Lexington Park man arrested on outstanding warrant and CDS possession

LEONARDTOWN, Maryland. – On Sunday, July 7, 2024, while on proactive patrol on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, Deputy Bradley Kirscht observed Robert Darnell Willett, 61, of Lexington Park walking in the area. Deputy Kirscht recognized Willett as a wanted offender with a warrant for CDS: Possession and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia.

Deputy Kirscht confirmed that the warrant was active and was informed that Willett was also booked on a felony charge of theft. After his arrest, the subsequent search uncovered Willett’s suspected crack cocaine and paraphernalia.

The suspect was transported to the Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown and charged with CDS: Possession – Not Cannabis and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia to await a bail hearing.
