Ollie Gordon II of Oklahoma State football team arrested for drunk driving

According to multiple reports, Oklahoma State football running back Ollie Gordon II was arrested early Sunday for drunken driving.

As News On 6 first reported Monday night – citing an Oklahoma Highway Patrol affidavit – Gordon was stopped on Interstate 35 near Moore, south of Oklahoma City, after a trooper reported that Gordon was driving 82 mph in a 65 mph speed limit zone and weaving through traffic.

According to additional reporting from Oklahoma City-based KOCO, the officer who stopped Gordon around 2:30 a.m. reported smelling “an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage” coming from 20-year-old Gordon. Gordon allegedly denied drinking and said he was with friends who were drinking alcohol. He then allegedly refused to take a breathalyzer test before telling the officer he had consumed an alcoholic beverage.
