Man injured, woman shot near Overlook area

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Bossier City Police are investigating a reported shooting late Wednesday night near the Overlook.

According to police, dispatchers received a “hang up” call from the Arthur Ray Teague Parkway near the Overlook area just after 9 p.m.

A patrol unit was dispatched to the location and upon arrival they found two victims. A male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Ochsner LSU Health, and the second victim, a woman, was fatally injured.

This is an ongoing investigation.
