Man arrested after attempting to leave recording device in locker room

A man was arrested after investigators say he attempted to place a recording device in a dressing room at a Target store in West Des Moines. Police arrested 25-year-old Blake Devens of Johnston. According to the criminal complaint, Devens entered the dressing room at the Target store on Mills Civic Parkway on June 2. Officials say he attempted to leave a recording device that looked like a pen. According to the criminal complaint, he chose not to leave it. A man was arrested after investigators said he attempted to install a recording device in a dressing room at a Target store in West Des Moines.

Police arrested 25-year-old Blake Devens of Johnston.

According to the indictment, Devens entered the dressing room at the Target on Mills Civic Parkway on June 2. Officers say he tried to leave a recording device that looked like a pen.

According to the criminal complaint, he decided not to leave the building.

Devens was released from jail after posting bail.
