TBI issues Silver Alert for missing Knox County man

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert Monday evening for a missing Knox County man.

Robert Hembree, 82, of Mascot, was last seen Monday afternoon wearing denim shorts and a navy blue shirt, according to the TBI.

Hembree is described as 5’10” tall, 180 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.

TBI believes Hembree may be driving a red 1996 Dodge Dakota with TN license plate 488BGNS and may be in the DeKalb, Georgia area.

TBI officials added that Hembree also suffers from a medical condition that could affect his ability to return safely without assistance.
