Buffalo man arrested more than 100 times faces new charges

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man who has been arrested more than 100 times since 2006 is facing new charges.

Buffalo police said they arrested Corey Anthony, 34, in connection with 18 different criminal incidents, including two robberies, 16 burglaries and 24 thefts.

The incidents are believed to have occurred at convenience, department, grocery and retail stores on Amherst Street, Hertel Avenue and Elmwood Avenue since November 2022.

Anthony was arraigned in Buffalo Municipal Court. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. His next court date is July 2.

Police say Anthony has been arrested 123 times since 2006.
