Construction worker dies in work accident

A construction worker died in an industrial accident in Providence.

According to police, it happened on Tuesday at the Omni Hotel on Sabin Street.

According to police, a worker on a scaffold suffered a health incident and fell.

All efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

OSHA and Providence Police are investigating.
