IDF attacks Hezbollah rocket launchers in southern Lebanon that were targeting Israel

The Israeli Air Force announced on Wednesday afternoon that Israeli Air Force jets hit two Hezbollah rocket launchers that were firing missiles towards northern Israel in the Taybeh and Markaba areas.

In addition, Israeli artillery fired on the Rachaya Al Foukhar area, from where shells were fired towards northern Israel.

According to the sirens that sounded between 11:52 and 12:19 in northern Israel, interceptors were launched toward suspected air targets. Sirens for rocket and missile launches were activated in the area due to the risk that shrapnel falling from the interceptors could hit their targets.

According to the sirens that sounded at 12:55 and 14:09 in the Meron and Malkiya areas, several rockets from Lebanon were identified. No one was injured in these incidents.

Fire and rescue services are currently working to extinguish the fires that broke out as a result of the activity.
