Chinese police announced on Tuesday the arrest of a suspect in connection with a knife attack on four American university lecturers in a city in the northeast of the country.

“The suspect named Mr. Cui was arrested on the same day” as the attack in Jilin on Monday, local police said in a statement. The man is 55 years old.
