Motorcyclist killed in accident in Darlington County

DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WBTW) — A motorcyclist was killed about a mile outside of Darlington Saturday morning when he collided with a vehicle attempting to turn, authorities said.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. on South Carolina Highway 34 on Pinedale Road. The motorcyclist was traveling southbound when he collided with a vehicle that was attempting to turn onto a private road.

The incident remains under investigation.
