Gas station owner in Suwannee County arrested for selling to minors

LIVE OAK, Fla. (WCJB) – The owner of a Suwannee County gas station was arrested after police say he attempted to sell alcohol and nicotine to minors.

Suwannee County Sheriff’s officials said 28-year-old Divyesh Patel attempted to sell the items to an undercover juvenile investigator at the Chevron in Live Oak today.

They say Patel checked the minors’ identification but still tried to sell them alcohol and e-cigarettes.

According to MPs, several residents have reported that Patel has sold to minors, including children as young as 13.
