Worker dies in tree felling accident in Silver Spring

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Maryland. – A man died during tree felling in Silver Spring on Wednesday.

According to Montgomery County police, the worker was in the extended bucket when his truck overturned.

He was pronounced dead by officials in front of the house where he was working. He was 60 years old.

Additionally, members of the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Department were dispatched to the Sudbury Road neighborhood to assist the victim.

The MCPD is investigating the incident.
