Spring Mills man charged with 20 counts of rape of child | News

Penn Township, Pennsylvania – A Spring Mills man is in custody after the alleged victim of sexual abuse came forward to a relative earlier this year.

According to a complaint, Vladimir Slavskiy, 35, was charged with 20 counts of rape of a child following an investigation by Rockview Police Department officers. Slavskiy is said to have started the assaults when the child was only seven or eight years old.

The first attacks involved digital penetration of the victim, which then led to sexual intercourse with the plaintiff, said police officer Kerry Jobon.

“There were numerous cases of sexual abuse, including digital penetration, anal penetration and vaginal penetration,” Jobon added.

According to Jobon, Slavskiy forced the victim to have sexual intercourse at least twice during his stay in Erie. In most cases where the assaults occurred, the child was under 13, Jobon wrote. Slavskiy allegedly had sexual intercourse with the victim at least once after they turned 13, Jodon wrote in the report.

According to Jodon, attacks occurred throughout Erie County and Centre County.

“These crimes occurred in bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms, as well as in parks, vehicles and garages,” Jodon said.

Slavskiy is accused of rape by force, child abuse and aggravated sexual assault. He was denied bail when he was arraigned in late May.
