More strong storms on Wednesday | Weather warning

Plan for isolated showers and thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon into early Wednesday night.

WASHINGTON — Another cold front will move through the DMV on Wednesday, bringing with it rain showers and storms. Some of the storms will be severe and some could become violent, bringing damaging winds and small hail.

The critical time is from 12 to 21 o’clock

The chance of a tornado is very low, but we’ll leave that topic aside. Now is a good time to download our app. Allow notifications so we can send you the latest observations and warnings.

The morning commute will be smooth, but expect showers and thunderstorms around midday.

Some afternoon games and training sessions may be cancelled or moved indoors.

For some of us, the journey home will be wet.

The front will not leave the DMV until early Wednesday evening. Showers and thunderstorms are possible until 9 or 10 p.m.
