That trend will repeat Thursday and Friday, with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. Highs will remain around 27 degrees. This weekend, the chance of rain will increase. The chance of thunderstorms will also increase. Highs will remain around 27 degrees, and night and morning temperatures will be around 15 degrees. The average high temperature this time of year is 30 degrees. Tuesday’s record high is 38 degrees, set in 1911, making it the earliest the temperature in Jackson has ever reached 38 degrees.
