Netanyahu launches investigation into Rafah attack – One America News Network

BERLIN, GERMANY - MARCH 16: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (not pictured) speak to the media after talks at the Chancellery on March 16, 2023 in Berlin, Germany. Netanyahu's one-day visit to Berlin is accompanied by protests, including both from people angry about Israel's policies toward the Palestinians and critics of possible new legislation in Israel supported by Netanyahu that would undermine the independence and power of Israel's Supreme Court, effectively limiting democracy in Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that he is investigating the Israeli military attack on Rafah.

On Monday, Netanyahu spoke in the Knesset after reports emerged that Israel had accidentally killed 45 civilians in Rafah in its attempt to destroy Hamas.

The international community has repeatedly claimed that Israel is attacking the residents of Gaza. These accusations come despite neither acknowledging nor admitting that Hamas’s goal is to destroy the State of Israel and murder all Jews.

Netanyahu praised his role in protecting and evacuating civilians from the southern Gaza Strip.

“In Rafah, we have already evacuated about a million civilians and, despite our best efforts not to harm civilians, unfortunately something went tragically wrong,” the prime minister said. “We are investigating the incident and will draw conclusions because that is our policy.”

Joe Biden wasted no time in condemning Israel, saying the Jewish state must take more precautions to protect civilians.

However, Biden did not call on Hamas to stop fighting or release the hostages the terrorist group took on October 7.th.
