2 reported dead in south Houston domestic shooting

HOUSTON (KIAH) – A domestic shooting occurred at 1118 Choate Circle in south Houston around 9 p.m. on May 23. Houston police and firefighters responded to the scene and found an adult female deceased with a gunshot wound.

Two other victims were found in critical condition. A male victim was located and transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A second male victim arrived at Fire Station 29, located about a mile from the scene of the shooting. He was also transported to an area hospital.

Homicide detectives determined the deceased woman was the shooter’s ex-girlfriend. They believe the shooter shot his ex and his cousin, before turning the gun on himself.
