Hartford police are holding their second checkpoint in a week

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Hartford Police will conduct their second DUI stop this Thursday, the second similar event in a week.

The checkpoint will take place on Wethersfield Avenue from 5:00 p.m. Friday to 1:00 a.m. Saturday. The police announced this on Tuesday.

A checkpoint took place there from Thursday night to Friday morning.

It is the latest in a series of checkpoints the department has conducted this year, including those at Capen Street, Park Street and New Britain Avenue.
