WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with a shooting complaint in Warren County, according to authorities.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to Jackson Bridge Road on Wednesday for a complaint of shots fired.

According to WCSO, witnesses said they heard several gunshots before seeing a red Mustang driving at a high rate of speed down Jackson Bridge Road toward Morgantown Road. Witnesses said they saw guns brandished out the window, officials say.

While responding to that call, officers say they were able to conduct a criminal traffic stop on a 1998 red Mustang in the 8000 block of Morgantown Road.

Deputies say the four passengers, including two juveniles, were interviewed and released.

The Sheriff’s Office confirms that no firearms or ammunition were found in the vehicle, however several rifle and pistol casings were found on Jackson Bridge Road near the original complaint.

An occupied building in the 5000 block of Hammet Hill Road was hit by two gunshots in that incident, according to authorities.
