Franklin police are investigating a double shooting that left two injured

According to FPD, officers responded to the 1200 block of Aberdeen Drive on May 11 for a report that a person had been shot. When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both shooting victims were transported to area hospitals and were listed as “alive.” According to initial investigations, the police assume that the two shooters knew each other.

No further information was released by police.
