4 Rochester women arrested for stealing $16,000 worth of cosmetics

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Four Rochester women were arrested in Chemung County on Thursday after police said they stole nearly $16,000 worth of merchandise from an Ulta Beauty store.

According to New York State Police, officers were called to the store on County Route 64 in Horseheads around 8:20 p.m. for reports of a theft in progress. Investigators on scene saw a white Buick attempting to flee the parking lot while two women carrying large bags of merchandise ran behind it.

Police prevented the vehicle from leaving and took four women into custody: Erica A. Jones, Kadestiny Albrianna, Desiree Walker and Latanetta William, all of Rochester. Each was charged with grand theft.

According to investigators, the women entered the store with shopping bags, filled them with products and left within about two minutes without concealing their intentions to steal. Ultimately, they walked away with $15,725 worth of products and $455 worth of anti-theft devices.
