NORTH TEXAS – The weather warning remains in effect until Thursday evening as severe storms continue to rage across the region.

There have been severe storms since midday with many reports of very large hail. Some up to the size of tennis balls.

The radar remains very active and will present a difficult evening drive for some.

Isolated severe storms will continue to occur in the evening hours.

The primary danger is very large hail the size of baseballs.

Shortly after sunset, the storms end with the loss of daytime heating.

Friday is the pick of the week with partly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the lower 80s.

If you want to be outside this weekend, Saturday is the better option as it will rain again on Mother’s Day and have a few storms.
