The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident at the Shell gas station

MERIDIAN, Mississippi (WTOK) – On Sunday morning, the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department was notified of an alarm going off at the Shell gas station in the 2400 block of Highway 19 South.

According to LCSD, they discovered the front door had been forced open after officers were dispatched.

No one was found in the building. According to surveillance video, three people entered the store wearing masks and gloves. Several tobacco products were stolen.

This incident is currently under investigation.
