Car crash Lindenhurst, Illinois: Alonso and Antony Tiscareno identified as boys killed in fatal fiery crash on Grand Avenue

LINDENHURST, Ill. (WLS) – The two boys who died in a fire accident in the northern suburbs last week have been identified.

The Lake County Coroner’s Office said Monday that 11-year-old Alonso Tiscareno and 16-year-old Antony Tiscareno, both of Wadsworth, died at the scene of blunt force injuries as a result of the crash.

The police had previously stated that they came from Zion.

Two 20-year-old men, one from Zion and one from Beach Park, were hospitalized in critical condition.

There was no official update on her condition on Monday.

According to authorities, the accident occurred shortly after 11:35 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of Grand Avenue in Lindenhurst.

The Lake Villa Fire Protection District and Lindenhurst Police responded to a car crash with injuries.

Investigators said a vehicle traveling east on Grand Avenue left the road and struck a tree.

It was initially unclear why the vehicle left the road.

When the rescue team arrived, the vehicle was already ablaze. Two children and two men were inside.

Lindenhurst Police and the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team are investigating the fatal crash.
