WE WANT TO INFORM YOU OF A STORY WE FIRST TOLD YOU: POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR THE PERSON WHO SHOT AND KILLED A 45-YEAR-OLD IN MILWAUKEE’S NORTH SIDE. THIS SHOOTING HAPPENED SHORTLY AFTER 2:00 AM THIS MORNING AND WE WANT TO INFORM YOU AGAIN OF SOME INFORMATION. WE JUST LEARNED THAT MILWAUKEE POLICE HAVE RELEASED AN UPDATED STATEMENT STATING THE SHOOTING ACTUALLY HAPPENED NEAR 50TH AND VIENNA AVENUE IN THE ROOSEVELT GROVE NEIGHBORHOOD. MPD ORIGINALLY SENT A FALSE REPORT STATING THE SHOOTING HAPPENED NEAR EDISON AND KEEFE DOWNTOWN. Well, crews performed life-saving measures at the scene, but police say the 45-year-old was dead at the scene. The 45-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving efforts, police said. A 22-year-old was also shot. Police did not disclose the severity of the 22-year-old’s injuries.
