Huron Police Searching for Teen After 'Critical Incident'

HURON, SD (Dakota News Now) – Huron Police are responding to a “critical incident” on Huron’s southwest side.

There is a large police presence in the area.

Authorities are asking people in the area to shelter in place. The area is currently closed and the public is asked to stay away.

The police are asking the public for help in finding a young man.

The man is 15-year-old Michael Lee. He is described as 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing dark clothing and carrying a duffel bag.

As a precaution, area schools have been asked to secure buildings during classes.
