One arrested for fatal shooting in North Jackson, one wanted

JACKSON, Mississippi (WJTV) – A 19-year-old has been arrested and Jackson police are searching for another in connection with a murder in North Jackson.

Detective Tommie Brown said Cameron Lee is in the custody of the Jackson Police Department (JPD) and is currently facing murder charges.


Brown said investigators are still looking for 19-year-old Martraviois Douglas, also known as 55.6 Snupe, in connection with the shooting death of Roitavious Greenfield. The detective said Douglas is also wanted in connection with another homicide case.

According to police, Greenfield was shot multiple times in the 5900 block of Lake Trace Circle shortly after midnight on Wednesday, July 3. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
