Naval drones attacked Russian facilities near Novorossiysk

Unmanned attack boats attacked targets in Russia near Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar region at night.

ASTRA’s Telegram channel published a video of explosions.

The roads near the shore were closed and the alarm was raised in the city.

Authorities in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation did not report the attack.

The Russian Defense Ministry announces an attack with drones and unmanned boats on targets in Russia.

The Russian ministry reports, among other things, that two unmanned boats were allegedly destroyed in the Black Sea on their way to Novorossiysk.

The Russian Defense Ministry blames Kiev for the attack. Ukraine has not yet commented on this information.

Novorossiysk is Russia’s most important port on the Black Sea and also a naval base.

After Ukrainian drones and missiles attacked bases in Crimea, part of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was relocated there.

At the end of June, it was announced that the Russian naval base Novorossiysk currently has the lowest activity of surface ships in the entire observation period.

Small missile ships and some landing ships were moved to the Sea of Azov to camouflage them from Ukrainian naval drones.

There are no large ships at the naval base, although until recently two Admiral Grigorovich-class frigates, three Buyan-M corvettes and four Kilo-class and Paltus-class submarines were permanently stationed there.
