There is no evidence that customer data was compromised in a cybersecurity incident that impacted Co-op gas stations and retail locations across Western Alberta, the company said Saturday.

Federated Co-operatives Limited reported a disruption in service at Co-op Cardlock petrol stations and retail stores earlier this week.

The South Country Co-op, which is responsible for the locations in the Medicine Hat area, was also affected.

In a statement released Thursday, FCL said there was no estimate as to when the problems would be resolved.
