Shooting tonight on 52nd Street: Man shot dead after shooting breaks out in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A man is dead after a shooting in West Philadelphia on Saturday night.

It happened in the apartment block on 52nd Street shortly after 7:30 p.m.

According to police, officers found a man at the scene who had been shot multiple times.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

There is no information about his identity yet.

Authorities say there have been no arrests so far. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to contact police.
