A Nepalese waiter is accused of raping a Singapore Airlines stewardess on a yacht in Hong Kong.

The defendant, 21-year-old Gu Lun, appeared in court and insisted on his innocence, admitting that he only had sex with the 23-year-old stewardess because she exposed her breasts first and seduced him.

A DJ whom the woman knew from her frequent visits to the Beijing Club in Lan Kwai Fong had invited her to a promotional party on a yacht on June 27 last year.

She was there with three friends and got very drunk on vodka, red wine and beer. The next morning, however, she woke up with pain in her lower body and found herself in a strange home.

After consulting with her friends, she realized that she had been sexually harassed by a Nepalese waiter and filed a complaint with the police.

According to media reports, the woman was on an annual visit to her relatives in Hong Kong.

Last July, an exchange student from Singapore was sexually harassed by three Nepalese men in Hong Kong after drinking in the trendy Lan Kwai Fong district.
