TRAFFIC ALERT: Stratford Avenue closed | MyStateline

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) – Starting June 25, drivers will need to find an alternate route to avoid the closure of Stratford Avenue between Buckingham Drive and Burrmont Road.

The reason for the closure is to repair the sewers. The repairs are being carried out by the Four Rivers Sanitation Authority.

Traffic control measures are in place and motorists are asked to exercise caution when driving near the construction site.

Depending on the weather, the work is expected to be completed by the end of Wednesday, July 3.
