Two dead in shooting in South Columbus, Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Two people are dead after a shooting Tuesday morning in south Columbus.

A police dispatcher said they received a call about a possible shooting near the 1300 block of Seymour Avenue in the Deshler Park area just before 10 a.m. Officers arrived to find two people with gunshot wounds inside a home.

At 10:06 a.m., both were pronounced dead at the scene. A police dispatcher said a woman went to the house to check on a man who lived there and found him lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. A window at the back of the house was broken, according to a dispatcher.
