Man dies when riding mower overturns in Lafayette County

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – A 68-year-old Florida man was killed when the riding lawn mower he was riding on overturned in Lafayette County, Missouri.

The incident was reported shortly before 3:50 p.m. Saturday on Oakland School Road, south of Burr Oak Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway PatrolThe accident occurred when the ride-on lawn mower tipped over and landed on the driver.

The driver, identified as Mark A. Ulrich, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
