Multiple accidents on I-10 E in Hancock County

HANCOCK COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) – Traffic on eastbound I-10 in Hancock County came to a standstill Friday afternoon.

According to MDOT, the congestion is the result of several accidents just past the Yacht Club Drive exit (Exit 13). The first occurred shortly after 2 p.m.

Originally only an hour’s delay was expected, but traffic is now expected to be disrupted until at least 4:30 p.m. Drivers are advised to take an alternative route if possible.
