The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office said it happened when a deputy was serving a restraining order near East Pierce and Union roads Thursday afternoon. COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa —

A dog is shot and killed after allegedly attacking and biting several people in Council Bluffs.

The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office said it happened when a deputy attempted to enforce a restraining order near the corner of East Pierce and Union Streets on Thursday afternoon.

There is no further information about the restraining order or who shot the dog.
