Identity of motorcyclist revealed who died in Father’s Day crash

Pelican Rapids, MN – The identity of the man who died in a motorcycle accident on Father’s Day (June 16) has been revealed.

On Sunday evening around 5:15 p.m., the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorcycle accident in Dunn Township, northeast of Pelican Rapids.

Authorities initially said the adult driver, now identified as 21-year-old Wesley Lafromboise of West Fargo, suffered serious injuries.

Life-saving measures were initiated on site, but ultimately they were unsuccessful.

Lafromboise was wearing protective gear, including a helmet, jacket and gloves. Alcohol is not believed to have played a role.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Pelican Rapids Ambulance, Pelican Rapids Fire and Life Link Air Ambulance.
