Wake Forest Police Ask for Help Finding Planet Fitness Chair Thieves

WAKE FOREST, NC — Wake Forest police are asking for the public’s help in locating two people who allegedly took some interesting chairs from a local store.

The two are wanted for questioning in connection with the theft of two large yellow and purple Planet Fitness “handchairs” valued at over $400 on June 2.

“We know the suspects are not easy to identify in the surveillance images,” a police spokesman said. “But if someone comes home with giant purple and yellow chairs in the shape of hands, that should be memorable.”

Surveillance videos show those involved grabbing the chairs and leaving the building.
