Police release bodycam video of man accused of kidnapping woman escaping custody – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

LANCASTER – Grove City police have released bodycam footage showing a man accused of kidnapping a woman who escaped police custody Thursday afternoon.

Quinntel Bagley is wanted for aggravated burglary and kidnapping after allegedly abducting a woman in Grove City Thursday morning. our news partners at WBNS reported.

News Center 7 previously reported that Grove City police escorted Bagley, 38, to a patrol car after he was treated at a medical facility in central Ohio.

He escaped and ran into a nearby wooded area. Police said Bagley was considered armed and dangerous.

Bodycam footage shows two Grove City police officers escorting Bagley from the hospital to a parking garage.

Within seconds, Bagley can be seen breaking free from the police officers and running through the hospital parking garage, still handcuffed.

Both officers ran after him but couldn’t keep up. Bagley is then seen running down one floor of the parking garage.

From there, police say Bagley broke into a home and stole a car. The car was found Thursday afternoon at an apartment complex in southeast Columbus.

The police searched the area thoroughly but could not find him.

Police are asking the public to call 911 if they see Bagley. He is approximately 6 feet tall, weighs 200 pounds and was last seen Thursday afternoon wearing tan clothing in southeast Columbus.
