Salinas police said they arrested four people and recovered two guns. Police were notified by a community member that a group was spray-painting graffiti and drinking in public in the 500 block of Fremont Street. When police arrived, the four suspects ran from police, and while they were running, one of the suspects dropped a handgun, police said in a social media post. Two were arrested. After a “brief game of hide and seek,” some short sprints and the use of a drone, the other two suspects were arrested, police said. A second handgun was found. Salinas police said they arrested four people and seized two firearms during the arrest.

Police were notified by a community member that a group was spraying graffiti and drinking in public in the 500 block of Fremont Street.

When police arrived, the four suspects ran from police, and as they ran, one of the suspects dropped a handgun, police said in a social media post. Two were arrested.

After a “brief game of hide and seek,” some sprints and the use of a drone, the other two suspects were arrested, police said. A second handgun was found.
