Two traffic policemen suspended for issuing traffic tickets to MPA in Peshawar

PESHAWAR – Two officials of Peshawar Traffic Police have been suspended after issuing a fine to MPA Sher Ali Afridi.

The chief traffic police officer has issued a notice of suspension.

The traffic police have issued a fine of Rs 500 to the member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly for an offence.

The traffic police, however, said the officers had been suspended because of their misconduct towards the MP.

Afridi told the media that they stopped the vehicle when the traffic policeman signalled them to stop. He claimed that the traffic policeman started misbehaving with him despite saying that he was an MPA.

It may be recalled that Sher Ali Afridi was elected to the KP Assembly from PK-77.
