Police investigations in Homestead are ongoing

HOMESTEAD, Florida. – Police are investigating a possible shooting in Homestead.

A Local 10 News crew was in the area of ​​40 NW Second Street Friday morning while Miami-Dade Police Department detectives turned their attention to the parking lot of a two-story apartment building.

Residents in the area told Local 10’s Trent Kelly they heard a person was shot and taken to a local hospital, but police have not yet confirmed those details.

Agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement were also spotted at the scene.
