Police: Meth and several weapons found during search of a house in Cabot last week

CABOT, Arkansas – Cabot police said a woman was arrested after drugs and weapons were discovered during a search of a home last week.

Cabot police officials said Tuesday that they, in cooperation with the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force and the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office, found approximately 23 grams of methamphetamine, eight firearms and drug paraphernalia during a search of a Cabot home around 10 a.m. last Thursday.


Officers stated that the search warrant for the home was due to the ongoing sale of methamphetamine.

Authorities said 39-year-old Shannon Hardin was arrested and faces several charges, including simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of meth with intent to resell, operating a drug business and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said Hardin was released on bail on Saturday.
