VRFA Blotter: Rollover Accident, Stab Injury, Assault Injuries and More

Here are 911 emergency calls responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from April 19 to May 5, 2024:

  • Cry for help: (Pacific) On Monday, April 29, at 9:23 a.m., VRFA firefighters, along with King County Medic One paramedics, responded to assist an adult male who was experiencing respiratory distress. Following treatment at the scene, the patient was safely transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.
  • Motor vehicle collision: (Auburn) On Tuesday, April 30, at 2:57 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 18. Upon arrival, firefighters stabilized the vehicle and assessed the single occupant. Fortunately, the occupant suffered no injuries and declined further assistance.
  • Cry for help: (Auburn) On Wednesday, May 1, at 8:50 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to assist a man with a stab wound to his left forearm. Upon arrival, firefighters assessed the patient at the scene and provided him with immediate care. The patient was transported to a local hospital by private ambulance.
  • Cry for help: (Lea Hill) On Friday, May 3, at 10:34 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to assist an adult female who was experiencing symptoms of high blood pressure and weakness. After examination, the patient was determined to require further medical attention and was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Covington Medical Center for further treatment.
  • Cry for help: (Auburn) On Saturday, May 4, at 4:31 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to assist an adult male who had sustained injuries during an assault. Following evaluation, the patient was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further medical care.
  • Motor vehicle collision: (Auburn) On Sunday, May 5, at 7:20 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a three-car collision that blocked the vehicle. Upon arrival, King County Medic One firefighters and paramedics assessed several patients, secured the damaged vehicles and determined all injuries were minor. One patient was transported to a local emergency room for further medical treatment.
