USA: Teenage rapper accidentally shoots himself while making a video on social media

A 17-year-old rapper in the US accidentally shot himself while filming a video on social media. In the video, he points the gun at his head and pulls the trigger.

According to a report published in New York PostThe teenager was found dead in his home in Suffolk, Virginia, on May 15. Although police did not confirm his name, the account under which the video was posted and his Instagram username indicate that he was known as rapper Rylo Huncho. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he later died.

Police confirmed the teenager’s death, saying he died from an “accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound” to the head. Separate footage is circulating on social media showing him singing to a camera while dancing with a gun with a green laser sight.

The New York Post According to the report, the boy appeared to have the gun’s safety off and pointed at his head, but a shot was heard and he was thrown out of view when the camera fell.

The report goes on to say that a GoFundMe campaign has been set up for the rapper’s grieving mother with a goal of $15,000. A cousin was quoted in a post for the campaign as saying: “He was her only son! She was a single parent but looked after her son as best she could. Suicide/Accident was the cause of death, we are still trying to figure out why. But anything I mean, anything can help her in this time of need. It was always her and her son.”

The video went viral last week, but according to a series of comments on his social media and Instagram page, many thought it was fake. Many speculated, asking how the video even got posted on social media if the rapper was already dead. His death was later confirmed by his friend on Facebook.
