Students who are arrested do not face suspension or expulsion

Students arrested during the May Day protests will not be suspended or expelled, college President Sian Leah Beilock announced during the event Faculty meeting on May 20thAccording to Beilock, the college has now completed its disciplinary proceedings against the arrested students and is working to have the charges against students dropped.

Students will also see no changes to their scholarships or financial aid, Beilock said.

Accordingly reporting in the past From The Dartmouth, 63 students faced possible disciplinary action for their participation in the May 1 protests.
