Missing, endangered man last seen heading south in Henderson, NC alert says

HENDERSON, N.C. (WNCN) – The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a missing person alert for a man in Vance County Wednesday evening.

At 11:23 p.m., officers asked people to be on the lookout for 58-year-old Michael David Brawt of Henderson.

They said he was last seen on South Beckford Drive in Henderson and is believed to be suffering from cognitive impairment.

According to the alert, Brawt is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds and has short black hair and blue eyes.

It said he was last seen wearing a red hat, a blue hoodie, silver sweatpants and camouflage slippers and carrying a black cane.

According to the warning, he is probably heading south with an unknown destination.
