Hopefully the police are looking for a murder suspect

HOPE — Police said Friday that they have obtained a first-degree murder warrant against a suspect in a fatal shooting Wednesday night in Hope.

According to a news release from Hope Police, Cortez Darquis Rhodes, 21, is wanted in connection with the death of James Deloney, 22.

According to police, Rhodes is 1.80 meters tall and weighs 75 kilograms.

Officers responding to a report of shots fired at 10:48 p.m. Wednesday found Deloney lying injured on the sidewalk, police said. Deloney died of his injuries at a local hospital, police said.
