Investor and philanthropist among four charged with indecent exposure at Seminole County parks in sex sting arrests – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

LAKE MARY, Fla. (WSVN) – Officials in Central Florida have arrested four men, including someone considered a prominent member of the community, following a sex sting operation at a park.

Cameras showed prominent investor and philanthropist Harold Mills after he was released from prison on Friday. Speaking to reporters, he promised to clear his name.

“We strongly deny these allegations and the related accusations and I look forward to clearing my name with your patience and God’s strength,” he said.

Mills is one of four men who appeared before a Seminole County judge a day after his arrest on indecent exposure charges.

Authorities identified the other three as Jairo Areis, Eric Tuttle and now-former Seminole County employee Leroy Green.

Green covered his face with a paper bag as he left the jail.

The arrests came after a sting operation that deputies said was intended to address complaints of sexual acts in public parks.

Documents show the men are connected to others through an app called Sniffies.

Using the app used to arrange such public meetings, undercover agents arranged meetings with the men in Liberty Park and Sanlando Park.

Former U.S. Marshals fugitive detective Paul Bruining weighed in on the matter.

“I know that parks are a popular place because they are public. You know, if you’re the bad guy, you can set it up so you have a big open space and you can see what’s going on around you,” he said.

Investigators said the killings occurred after the four men exposed themselves.

Mills is charged with soliciting a prostitute and indecent exposure.
