First weather warning:

  • Slight chance of an isolated strong storm this afternoon
  • On Wednesday it was another weather warning day, severe storms are possible from midday to evening
  • Quiet and dry Thursday-Friday

Today from noon to 6 p.m We will watch to see if a single storm can develop, but the atmosphere may run out of storm fuel and the passing front may not be strong enough to produce a storm or two. For this reason, the chances seem slim, but we need to watch it closely. Any storms that may occur can be strong to severe.

ANOTHER first alert weather on Wednesday: Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected, although it is somewhat difficult to pinpoint the exact timing so far and will depend in part on how today’s storms develop. For now, let’s be on guard from late morning to early evening. Wednesday’s threat could represent a more severe threat, including damaging winds, hail and strong tornadoes. At the moment we have a severe level 3 threat (out of 5 the highest) on Wednesday. Stay tuned for updates as we determine the exact timing to ensure you are alert and prepared.

Beyond Wednesday, we see a cooler, calmer and mostly dry weather pattern Thursday through the weekend, although there is a chance of scattered rain through Saturday. We’ll keep an eye on this and bring you updates in the coming days.
